Dallas brings to us a wealth of experience in accounting and financial management.

Born and bred in Dunedin, he gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Otago. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Massey University.

After coming back to New Zealand from his OE not knowing what to do, Dallas found himself taking up an accounting role, and has not looked back ever since.

“Accounting found me, in a way, and I am fortunate that it did, as I have a great interest in business and it opens doors to working in a range of industries and working with some very interesting people locally and internationally.”

At AbacusBio, Dallas is responsible for the business finances, ensuring the business is managing its working capital, that AbacusBio meets its statutory compliance obligations, and it has the right information to base decisions on.

“It is an exciting time for me to join the diverse team at AbacusBio and I look forward to helping the team grow and thrive.”

Outside of work, Dallas enjoys spending most of his time on old cars, a hobby he shares with his dad.
