Hannah joined us in 2021, bringing to us her varied experience in science writing, finance, operations, and go-to-market strategy.

Hannah’s strengths lie in having an inquiring mind and her ability to see the best in people. Originally from Tauranga, and having grown up in Katikati and Rotorua, she holds a BE(Hons) degree in chemical and process engineering from the University of Canterbury.

She went on to do a PhD in bioengineering, and after graduating from the University of Canterbury, she started off as a scientific writer, developing online tutorials for health sciences university students, before landing in the business operations side of things.

One of her career highlights was managing the international rollout for a new educational SaaS product.

At AbacusBio, she is excited to apply her operational head to help keep things streamlined and flowing nicely.
