She has a strong background in the dairy sector, making sure the financial and administrative operations run smoothly in the dairy farming business she runs with her husband. Tessa also has five years of agribusiness banking experience, along with a technical extension background from her work in the kiwifruit industry and she holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Otago.

Tessa brings real-world agricultural knowledge to her role at AbacusBio. She is passionate about efficient and sustainable farming systems, and understands that great science and technology is most valuable when it translates into practical solutions for farmers.

In her spare time, Tessa enjoys planning her next holiday and helping out on the farm.
