AbacusBio assisted with funding applications, which resulted in the collaboration receiving NZ$25M of combined industry and government funding for seven years with estimated potential economic benefits to New Zealand being up to NZ$400M in domestic and export earnings over 25 years. Through scientific investigation, a unique integrated supply chain has been developed, now marketed as “Te Mana Lamb”.
